Authorization 401 Error - Due to TimeStamp

Ben Nov 09, 2011 03:17PM GMT

Anytime I connect I will get a 401 auth error.

Eventually, I think its due to a timestamp issue. If I check the request key in the browser, I always get:

OAuth Verification Failed: Timestamp is out of sequence. Request rejected. Got last max is 1320370062 allowed skew is 600 etc.

Think its due to me being in the UK and the timezone difference?

I've been getting a (possibly related) timestamp error for some of my requests: "Unknown Error: Duplicate timestamp/nonce combination, possible replay attack. Request rejected."

Hi jcage,

Are you still experiencing the problem? I haven’t been able to reproduce it.
Could you give us more details of the requests you are doing?

Thanks,

Rosario

Hi Aaron,

Can you try renewing the tokens? That would require getting new request tokens and then exchanging them for access tokens. If you still experience the problem, could you please give some more details on the requests you are doing?

Regards,

Rosario
