Mendeley Support Portal

Unable to Install desktop app.

Hi
I am having the same problem (as another user on trying to install), whereby on attempting to install the diagonal box contains no text but two toggle options. On the next page you get a series of boxes which depending the which option you select on the previous page, offer a different number of boxes. It is not possible to enter any text into these boxes. Nothing happens on clicking continue from this page.
I am running Snow Leopard on a Mac from early 2011.
I have tried the suggested fix to do with the font cache being corrupt but was unable to resolve the problem.
Further suggestions appreciated

Thank you

A simple step is to try restarting your Mac following the font cache changes.

You can force Mendeley to skip the login dialog by starting it from a terminal using the command:

/Applications/Mendeley\ Desktop.app/Contents/MacOS/Mendeley\ Desktop --setting General_FirstRun:false
